FLIDAS is going to provide an export function to Cassidan's (EADS) real time test system AIDASS 2000 (AIDASS is a registered trademark of Cassidian Germany). Due to the same format this will also support MaTE and SYGAM which makes it relevant to several Cassidian, Airbus and Eurocopter projects and commercial customers outside the EADS group.

The first version will support Milbus 1553 and ARINC 429 but other formats can be added when there is a demand. It will be a separate plug-in to the commercial version.

The data will be converted to the trace format (TRF) and can be used for analysis of protocol errors and data content including engineering value interpretation with an ICD. Replay capabilities for Milbus 1553 exist to review the data or to build realisic test scenarios. With existing tools from Cassidian 1553 files can also be converted further to the RDF format which allows analysis in Origin or UDI. Similar tools may later be added for other protocols by Cassidian.

We are in discussion with Cassidian how more features can be implemented with changes in FLIDAS or AIDASS.

Support for other test systems or bus analyzers can be provided on request.

There is a new area of development to support the IRIG 106 Chapter 10 file format. These files contain flight recordings of various interfaces. It will be possible to import these data to GSS100e/r but there should also be standalone products.

One result of the studies on this file format is the free tool IRIG 106 Chapter 10 View to display the content of these files. It also has some export capabilities. Feel free to comment on the tool and raise any requests. New features will be integrated in the free version over the next time and it will form the base for other, COTS or customer specific products.
